Owner Rocco Muriale’s grandparents, Rocco & Isabella Miglarese Muriale, came to West Virginia from Italy in the early 1900s. Rocco’s parents, Frank and Violet Muriale, started the restaurant in 1969 with his uncle and aunt, Sam and Rose, and with lots of help from grandparents, younger brother, and cousins. Since our founding, the Muriale’s name has stood for quality and value. Now in its second generation of family operation, the tradition continues.
Customer service is much more than a saying at Muriale’s, it’s a passion. It’s the feeling you get from Rocco’s smile when you enter the door, to when your favorite meal arrives. For 40 years, dishes on our menu have remained as good today as when you first stepped inside our doors, or tasted our food for the first time at a friend’s wedding. Our restaurant’s walls are filled with letters from those who’ve enjoyed our service.
Along the way, you have become our best marketers, telling your friends about Muriale’s, and telling us what makes your taste buds come alive. Our menu is a reflection of those tastes; from classics to new recipes designed especially for you. Dining at our place, bringing it to your home, picking it up for your company picnic, or anything you can dream up, we’re experts in understanding your tastes and expectations.
